Michael Allen Segura
It is with deep sadness to announce the passing of our beloved brother Michael Allen Segura age 65 on December 13th 2024 after suffering complications from a delicate surgery.
Michael was born in Los Alamos, NM on December 30, 1958 to Thelma and Neno Segura.
He graduated from Los Alamos High School in 1977 and continued his education at New Mexico State University where he received a bachelor of science degree in Political Science. He furthered his education at Central New Mexico Community College receiving an associate degree in Accounting.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents Neno and Thelma Segura, his brother Thomas and sister in law Dora as well as his sister Samia Davis. Michael is survived by his brothers Floyd Segura (wife Stephanie) and Neno J. Segura (wife Victoria) and sisters Nina Gallegos (husband Ken) and Ginny Loucks. He is also survived by brother in law Jerry Davis and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins he loved dearly.
Michael will always be remembered for his witty sense of humor and his big heart. He was a caring person willing to help others in any way he could! Michael also had a deep love for his family and cherished his time spent with them.
Michael was an avid New Mexico Lobo fan! He attended almost every Lobo home game, both Lobo men and women, and often traveled to away games from Oregon to Memphis,Tennessee. He was almost always in attendance at Western Athletic and Mountain West basketball tournaments going back 25 years to support his beloved Lobos.
Michael loved and praised God throughout his life. He attended church services regularly and was attuned and had faith in what God had in store for him.
Michael will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
In honor of his life a memorial service will be planned and announced for a later date.
