Darlene Ann Blevins
Darlene Ann Blevins, age 83, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away on December 30, 2024.
She was born in Larned, Kansas. Darlene retired as a supervisor with Elastamold where she worked for over 30 years. She was also a talented seamstress for Pioneer Wear. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and was known as, "Granny". Darlene had 5 children, 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren. She was a loving sister, aunt, and friend.
Darlene is preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Blevins; father, Nick Meier; mother, Albina Schreibvogel; brothers, Tom Meier and Nick Meier; sisters, Marcella Meier and Sandy Delgado.
She is survived by her children, Colene Blevins, Brenda Ward (Russell Ward), Joe Blevins (Janice Blevins), Howard Blevins, Christy Salazar (Elton Salazar); brothers, Bill Meier, Gary Meier, Don Meier; sisters, Jeanette Fay, Jackie Smith, Roxann Antonelli, Theresa Hendren, and Tina Gordon.
Pallbearers are Joe Blevins, Howard Blevins, Joey Blevins, Danny Velarde, Cody Ward, Russell Ward, Jesus Sias, Matthew Sias, and Jesus Jr. Sias.
Honoary Pallbearers are Bill Meier, Gary Meier, Don Meier, Cody Jr. Ward, Cory Ward, Adam Ward, Russell Jr. Ward, Elton Jr. Salazar, Nathan Salazar, and Nicholas Salazar.
