My condolences on the passing of Mrs. Sylvan. She was one of my teachers at D.A. Holmes Elementary in Kansas City, MO. She was a very good and very kind teacher. She was the only adult during who ever comforted me about the loss of my mother. She shared her loss with me and she tried her best to help me. I will never forget her gentleness, compassion, sympathy and empathy. I deeply appreciate her to this day and I will carry her care with me always. Thank you, Mrs. Sylvan. Sincerely, L. Davis
