Phillip Wesley Korovlev

April 18, 1989 -- March 01, 2025

It is with deep sorrow and immense love that we say goodbye to Phillip Korovlev who passed away on March 1, 2025 at the age of 35. To know Phillip was to feel seen, safe, and genuinely cared for. He was a bright light in every room — the kind of person whose presence made you feel instantly at ease, whose humor lifted spirits, and whose empathy made the world a gentler place.

Phil had a gift for connecting with people. Whether through a well-timed joke or a quiet, comforting word, he had an uncanny way of making everyone feel like they mattered. His soul was truly beautiful — generous, kind, and filled with a deep understanding of others. He didn’t just make life better; he made it lighter.

He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, compassion, and unforgettable moments. Though our hearts are heavy, we are endlessly grateful for the time we shared with him and the love he gave so freely.

He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, dog Dad and such a kind and beautiful soul. He is survived by his parents Dennis Korovlev and Victoria Chavez Korovlev, his sister Megan Romaniuk and husband Jerod Romaniuk, their two sons Ryland and Greyson and daughter Lilianna, cousin Francisco Trujillo and wife Shelby Greaser and their two children Aspen and Jaxon as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

He always had a smile on his face, a kind compliment to offer, and a joke to share—his sense of humor was truly one of a kind. An avid outdoorsman and runner, he embraced life with energy and joy.
He was a light in this world, and his glow will live on in all of us who were lucky enough to know him.

My heart goes out to the Korovlev family. Phil! It wasn't that long ago that I had heard from you, but I'm glad we were able to reconnect after all these years! I didn't know you were going through so much. I'm sorry we didn't get together sooner. I wish you rest in peace and I will never forget all those memories on the football field! God Bless!
