Loa Lu Waldroop
Loa Lu Waldroop passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. She was born on June 16, 1939, in Washington, Iowa to Merrill A and Loa Jean Harkness. Loa graduated in 1958 from Waco High School in Waco, Tx and went on to work at International Harvester Co. as a Branch Business Administrator in Tulsa, OK until she retired. She married Edward J. Waldroop in 2008 and was married to him until his passing in 2014. She lived a quiet but happy life with dear friend, companion/caregiver, Erin Kirkman, during her remaining years. Painting, gardening and going for scenic drives were among the hobbies that she enjoyed. Loa is survived by her two children Keith Kousal and Kim Wee, sister Susan Hill, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren whom she loved very much.
